• Question: What is the scientific evidence that the big bang theory is real?

      Wow enemhen You have some pretty big questions ! These are great but I’m not sure I can answer them :-\

      I think there is a lot of evidence to support the big bang and whats more there is probably a lot more evidence supporting the big bag theory than other theories. So we have to go with the majority of the evidence which is why most physicists support the big bang theory as a starting point of our universe.

      But I might be wrong as Im not into physics…. it had too many equations that i could write or understand !!!

      The discovery that almost all galaxies are moving away from us.
      The abundance of elements we see around us.
      Cosmic microwave background radiation.
      The formation of galaxies and the large scale structure of the cosmos.

      It’s way over my head to understand more than the basic theory of galaxies moving away from us. This is the stuff for brainy Physicists who can come up with ideas. I usually need to see something to understand it fully – I’m not a theorist, that’s for sure.
