Dreams are kind of like stories our mind creates when we’re asleep. They involve images, sounds and emotions. They can make us feel happy, sad, angry and scared. Some research has shown dreams are caused by the limbic part of the brain (the emotional part). Some people think it’s our way of processing events that have happened recently – understanding them and playing our different scenarios. Other people think dreams help us process emotional memories and things that have happened that day and store them in our long-term memory.

It’s strange how sometimes you have a dream so vivid you wake up wondering if it was real. I remember waking up crying because of what happened in my dream….eep, that was embarrassing!

      Hi Greginator …

      nice name .

Dreams are what happens when our brains process the information that has been given to them (by our eyes, ears, taste etc…. ). Whilst our bodies are asleep the brain is very much awake and is making new chemicals, neurones and preparing us for the next day. It even releases a hormone to wake us up in the morning !
