• Question: is there an age that is too late for your hormones to start?

      We need hormones from the time of conception which is when they start, just like yours did!

      100% with Saffron on that one – so many hormones are needed just to get life started and hormones continue to do various jobs throughout our life.

      In terms of sex hormones, there is an age range – most girls begin puberty between 8 and 14 years old. Boys tend to develop later than girls although everyone is different. I wouldn’t worry if puberty happened later than the average but if worried, a GP can always advise.
