      When young people reach puberty they undergo a growth spurt and the timing of the growth spurt will depend on what age puberty begins which, as you know, is variable amongst individuals. The final height you will achieve is also related genetically to your parents. So if they are both short then you will also have the same tendency to be shorter than your peers.
      You still have time to grow a lot more and perhaps all your friends began puberty earlier than you did. Don’t despair!
