• Question: If the big bang theory was real, where did the rocks come from?

      So I’m not a physicist do don’t really know anything about that. I think rocks were produced after the big bang happened along with everything else (!).

      If you have a physics teacher try asking them and see if they have a good answer.

      I didn’t have a clue (and still don’t) but came across this……

      “According to the Big Bang theory, all matter and all space was originally part of an infinitesimally small point called the Singularity. The theory says nothing about where that singularity came from. It is assumed to have come about by a random quantum event. ”

      “Big Bang is a model that explains the early stages of the universe. It does not:
      – Explain how the universe was formed.
      – Explain how the Earth was formed.
      – Have anything to do with rocks.”

      To be honest I don’t understand this at all. Just as well I didn’t end up in physics!
