It varies from day to day. Some days I don’t even get in the lab as I’m busy in the office. The other scientists generally spend about 3/4 of the day in the lab doing diagnostic tests and cryopreservation.

Every day is different. Some days I spend all day doing experiments and another only paperwork like updating my lab book and analysis. Generally 2/3 to 3/4 of my day is spent doing experiments. Other non experiment activities include attending lab meetings and seminars given by external speakers or other people in the department.
