      I like the challenge of it, finding out about new discoveries and even discovering something completely new oneself! Though I have to say that doing research in a laboratory can at times be very frustrating when things go wrong or don’t work as one would have hoped.

      Love it! Science is interesting, fun and forever developing.

      It’s amazing how much has changed over the last few decades. Think about the 3D printer and how it could be used to create a new ear for a burns victim, for example. Another example might be IVF treatment – this used to be considered futuristic, now it seems quite a normal thing, but like everything new and improved techniques are always developing. It’s exciting to be part of it.

      Yes I do! I think you need to love science to work in research. I love science as it aims to explain the world and how things in it work. To be able to contribute to that knowledge is a privilege.
