Question: do you use cryopreservation for other things not just for sperm to do with your job

I just work with sperm. Embryologists carry out cryopreservation of eggs and embryos. If we ever start an egg donor service I’d definitely be keen to get involved in that though.

I used to work for the blood transfusion service and one section retrieved hearts and prepared and froze the heart valves to be used in future transplants. It was amazing!
