      I don’t discover something new in science every day. Even when I worked in research there was a lot of repetitive work because of the large number of samples and trying different testing methods. The time of discovery was when I gathered the data and did the analysis.

      Non-science-related, I did discover that my male workmate really suited the pink cardboard crown I took into work today. Discovery!

      Not everyday. Experiments can take several days or even months to complete. You need to do several repeats and experiments of different types to confirm findings along with analysis of your results.
