Endorphins block pain signals so it is believed that release of them during exercise (which is seen as a stress by the body) helps you work out harder and longer without the painful sensations. Endorphins released by the pituitary gland also give the feelings of euphoria often called the “runners high” which can explain why people like to exercise even after muscle pain that can come with doing exercise.

      Hi

Just like Amy said. If you didn’t feel good after it you probably wouldn’t do it again ! So its your body telling you that exercise is good for you !

Agree with Amy. Endorphins are funny things – pain relief and euphoria when stressing the body. It’s understandable why people really enjoy exercise if there’s a “feel-good” sensation that goes with it.
