• Question: will electricity exist forever

      I would expect so. This is not my area of expertise but we have many sources to generate electricity – some that will run out which are termed finite like fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal) and those that should not run out termed infinite like solar power, wind power and wave power.

      I would say yes as well. Although fossil fuels are used to produce electricity, we do have other options (wind, water, solar), which is probably just as well because more and more advanced technology is being developed. Generally more advanced technology requires quite a lot of energy/electricity.

      Perhaps one day in the future we’ll be able to sustain ourselves off the more natural energy-producing methods. I wouldn’t imagine it being a problem in the UK – it’s windy and rainy but we still get sunlight. Some other countries, I’m not so sure.
