Not all scientists are bad at telling jokes. There is a nationwide scheme called Bright Club (we have one in Dundee) where scientists perform stand up comedy in local pubs (usually on a science orientated theme). It’s very good and some scientists can be very funny! I guess science and being a comedian don’t always come hand in hand.
