People don’t tend to name hormones after themselves. Instead they give them names according to where they are made or their primary function… things like that.
That said Craig there are lots of diseases named after people who discoveed them like Addison’s disease, Graves disease, Klinefelter’s syndrome, Turner’s syndrome, Cushing’s syndrome to name just a few. Some aren’t, like diabetes which comes from the word honey to reflect the sweet smelling urine that is excreted in untreated diabetic patients.
